Oh, and have I mentioned our microscope. You can’t fix it if you can’t see it, that’s why most dentists use some type of magnification - those funny magnifiers called “loupes” that you see on many dentists glasses. While I used these for years I switched to a Zeiss Microscope for even greater magnification and attention to detail. In addition to magnification it provides video so the patient can visualize the conditions in their mouth as they are examined. Seeing IS believing!
